Timothy Byars, researcher, writer, and curriculum developer, gives us the straight talk on the need for putting cannabis therapeutics back into the hands of healthcare professionals.  We are at a tipping point, as curriculums and dosing guidelines- based on a combination of research and clinical evidence are becoming available. Clinicians will find it easier to educate themselves and embrace cannabis as a viable medicine in order to meet a growing patient demand.

He is the president and Chief Education officer for Radicle Health, which provides cannabis education and training to healthcare professionals, advocates, and educators.  Before Radicle Health, Timothy co-founded The Agathist Collective, a consulting and delivery service that helped members—most seniors—use cannabis to treat chronic and age-related illnesses. Before working in cannabis, Timothy worked for 15 years for Oracle and PeopleSoft as an information architect, technical writer, and curriculum developer.

He is currently enrolled in the nation's first Master's program in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
