Katherine Golden, RN, has served the medical community for over 22 years, and for the past 4 years, has worked as a cannabis nurse educator and consultant. She is the CEO, Executive Director & Co-Founder of  Leaf411, which launched in November 2018. Leaf411 is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit. The first national cannabis nurse hotline provides a free-to-public, educational, and directional support phone hotline for both skeptics, novice, and experienced cannabis users alike. Her 22 years of experience bring vast knowledge in various nursing roles (med/Surg, Ob/GYN, maternity, OR, etc.). Her spotless nursing career started in California in 1997, and has been a registered nurse in Colorado since 2005.

Her intro to cannabis medicine was a very personal journey with a young family member diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Since then, she's developed a strong passion for implementing innovative care plans to improve patients' quality of life and educate the community-at-large about this beautiful plant. Katherine is a proud wife and mother.

Katherine received her Associates of Science degree in nursing from El Camino College School of  Nursing in Torrance, CA, and has obtained seven separate cannabis-related nursing certificates through  The Medical Cannabis Institute (TMCI Global), Radicle Health Cannabis Therapeutics for Medical  Professionals certificate course, and Healer. She is a member of the American Cannabis Nurses  Association (ACNA), Cannabis Nurse Network (CNN), Americans for Safe Access (ASA).  She is up to date on the latest science and the most current issues.
